Fundamental Excel Training
This training course is designed to prepare you to take and pass the Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel Associate exam. The class includes 8 hours of training across four weeks, covering five modules of content. The skills you learn in this class will prepare you to build and utilize spreadsheets commonly found in the workplace.

Create and manage workbooks and worksheets
The work you do in Excel will be saved in a "Workbook", each of which is made up of one or more "Worksheets". We'll cover how to create and set these up to get your best work done.
Manage data cells and ranges
Formatting your data cells is crucial for accurately understanding the information you're looking at. We'll merge cells, format results, and arrange your data into ranges.
Create tables
Putting your data into tables makes it easy to process, visualize, and analyze your information. We'll cover how to set up a table, format it properly, and the features that make it great.
Perform operations with formulas and functions
Formulas are mysterious at first, but they unlock your true potential with Excel. We'll use formulas to quickly add or subtract, lookup information, find averages, work with text, and more!
Create charts and objects
Once you've arranged, processed, and analyzed your data, you can finally communicate it. We'll use charts and other figures to present your information clearly to your boss, coworkers, or clients.
Getting Certified
A certification exams will be offered one week after the final training session of a course. Course registration does not include the exam fee, which can be purchased separately.
